goodbye floral wallpaper; the living room makeover
18:33:00
I thought it would be a good idea to show you guys what the living room now looks like now that we've been here for nearly a year and a half.[ where has that time gone!]
We've gone from floral wallpapers to bare empty walls, and we're nearly, well i'm nearly done with it.
If you've read my past from way back when 'call me a londoner' then there are some of the agency photos of the flat empty with crazy wall paper in every room. I started bugging ray about the wallpaper after about 3 months of being in and the plucked up the courage to ask our landlord to decorate, and she said yes, thank god!
It's taken me the best part of a year to save money, buy tat and really try and finish the room off. the last thing is to save for a nice rug and of course more plants!
enough waffling, heres the photos!
I'd be the first to admit that the room was certainly more cozy back then, but i think its because it was the darkness off the room.
After painting the whole room white, and hating it! we added the grey wall. When all the walls were painted white it was just too much white, if thats even a thing.
After ransacking TKmaxx for house tat the room looks alot more finished now.
A lot of the items in the room are from shops like poudland, aldi, tkmaxx, h&m and anything that is cheap. Not everything needs to be expensive its more the way it is styled.
We use this room every day and it's easy to keep tidy, i'd like to think we all enjoy this room.

Hope you guys like having a nose.
